Whether it's a milestone birthday, engagement party or end-of-year work event, our upstairs area at the Alma is the perfect function space in Norwood.

Upstairs

Our upstairs space can cater up to 150 people cocktail style, or 50 people sat down.

Located on the first floor of the hotel, this private room offers its own bar and heated balcony, along with a state-of-the-art entertainment system, dance floor and 70-inch plasma screen.

Alcove

Located downstairs in our main bar area, the Alcove is a fantastic location to be part of the action while benefiting from your own space. With access to the main bar, it is perfect for intimate functions and does not incur a room hire charge. Our large 75-inch TV is available for photo slideshows. In the cooler months, guests can enjoy the ambience of our slow combustion wood fireplace.

With access to the main bar and plenty of privacy, the Alma's Alcove is a great function space for your next event.
If you're looking for a large, lively function space in Norwood, you can't beat the Alma's Garden Bar!

Garden Bar

Our recently renovated Garden Bar boasts a superb atmosphere. Areas can be sectioned off from the general public, or the whole space can be booked with its own bar facilities included. The Garden Bar is all weather, with a retractable roof, misters and fans to keep everyone cool in summer, or heaters and a roaring fire to add warmth in winter.

Restaurant

For sit-down functions with set menus or cocktail platters, consider booking out our restaurant. It is ideal for sports presentations, christenings, birthdays or corporate events. It has microphone and presentation facilities with HDMI connections.

We can seat a minimum of 30 guests and a maximum of 90. It is perfect for large-scale group bookings and is fully serviced by our friendly wait staff.

If you're hosting a sports presentation, large birthday or engagement, our restaurant is perfect for large functions.
Looking for a corporate function space in Norwood? Our Boardroom is ideal for work dinners or sit-down meetings.

Boardroom

Seating up to 20 guests, the Boardroom is the perfect, private space for intimate events. It is ideal for work dinners, hen’s parties or smaller birthdays.

The space is also suitable for corporate meetings, with its own plasma screen with audio visual connections.

Corner Bar

The Corner Bar is a semi-private area located off our main bar. It offers its own private, enclosed courtyard and full bar facilities. Including the courtyard space, the Corner Bar can cater up to 90 guests cocktail-style.

This area is perfect for work get-togethers and birthday parties, with direct access to the dance floor on the weekends. Please note that no unaccompanied minors are permitted after 9:00pm on Saturday nights.

The Corner Bar at the Alma has access to all the action while remaining semi-private.
